It supports hard drives formatted with FAT12, FAT16, FAT32 and NTFS file systems (Windows-compatible), and will recover files on logical and physical hard drive partitions. File Recover is a safe and affordable file recovery solution, designed to recover deleted files from all types of hard drives and other types of fixed media. File Recover supports IDE/ATA/SCSI drives, drives larger than 8GB, and supports long file names. File Recover can scan your hard drive within minutes and identify files that may be recoverable. When a file is deleted from the hard drive and has bypassed the Recycle Bin, it is not actually erased from the drive. Rather, its data remains on the drive, relatively intact, until the space on the drive that it occupies is overwritten by another file. File Recover simply identifies files that are still intact on the hard drive, and gives you the option of recovering (undeleting) the files or salvaging what is left of them.

| 2004-04-27 | 2 | timmyc | Found the files alright (so does every other app I used) - but not allowed to restore them unless you pay them your moola, so wasnt able to test if this was better than the others. This isnt shareware its shameware... at least it uninstalled properly. |
