FaxTalk Messenger Pro runs as a service under Windows 2000/XP providing answering and sending capabilities even when a user is not logged in. The software can notify you by email, fax, pager, or telephone whenever you receive a new fax or voice message and automatically forward your faxes to another fax machine or send them to an email address. You can even have received messages and faxes automatically forwarded to your Microsoft Outlook Inbox to create a unified messaging solution.
Use your computer as a super fax machine with features such as broadcast faxing, high-speed Super G3 (V34 Fax) support, 2D, ECM, delayed scheduling, sending faxes over the Internet to any email address, direct access to Microsoft Outlook and Windows Address Book contacts, annotation, ability to design your own cover pages, TWAIN scanner support, save faxes in Adobe PDF format, and resending previously sent faxes.
The voice messaging features enable you to create a simple answering machine or a sophisticated voice mail system with the ability to create multiple mailboxes, record custom greetings, schedule greetings to play at specific times or days, and remotely access your fax and voice messages from anywhere, using a touch tone telephone. Additional capabilities include anti-telemarketing and blacklisting options, fax on demand, ability to record phone conversations, and comprehensive Distinctive ring and Caller ID support.

FaxTalk Messenger Pro works well for me. But I haven't yet found out how to run it under a virtual machine (Workstation 4), because I haven't learned how to get the VM to recognize the Com Port and Modem. |

Igot it to work great on windows xp sp2 with distinctive ring working on my modem blaster v92 di5633 modem configuration on my chipset was dron;drof you have to go into hperterminal to see this code. |

Faxtalk is worthless. Does not work with XP pro -switching users locks modem & it grabs the phone line. I asked for a refund from faxtalk, they toll me it was my problem. |
