Im Wesentlichen besteht pdfMachine aus einem Windows-Druckertreiber, der beliebige Druckdateien in das weit verbreitete, plattformübergreifende PortableDocumentFormat (PDF) konvertiert, zugleich Ihr E-Mail Programm öffnet, die erzeugte PDF-Datei an die gewünschte E-Mail anhängt und dann versendet.

Besonderheiten:

Hervorzuheben ist bei der pdfMachine, daß sie eine integrierte Parameter-Übergabe besitzt, die es erlaubt, Daten aus Ihren kaufmännischen Systemen direkt an die pdfMachine zu übergeben um so beispielsweise einen elektronischen Rechnungsversand per PDF vollautomatisiert abzuwickeln.
