| 2003-08-28 | CoCSoft Stream Down | 8 | Stream Down downloads wmv files through the mms protocol correctly, with rm files through the rtsp protocol it shows wrong lenghts; pausing and continuing don't work always, but it accepts cgi-redirects. It seems to be inspired on Net Transport from the mainland of China (yes), with much more possibilities and it is freeware, available from a mirror at http://www.softnews.ro/public/cat/10/5/10-5-30.shtml This is the only program I know of that reports good rm lengths, has good pausing and continuing but accepts no cgi-redirects though (solution: save your video link first and look at the contents to see the redirected URL) |
