2003-12-18	River Past Video Perspective	1	"This program has performed an illegal operation..." Win XP Pro, I passed the little 'system check' test, too. I tried to convert 3 different WMV files to AVI... crashed and burned immediately every time. The included Uninstall app claimed it "could not remove" ONE registry key; I've found TWENTY-EIGHT keys with "River Past" so far, and that's not including the sub-keys. Word of advice River Past... If you can't handle an uninstall program, then maybe it's time to go to programmer's school before trying video conversion! Maybe some Beta testing would be a good idea, too. Total waste of time... don't bother downloading this. It takes longer to clean your machine of all the River Past clutter than it does to find out this app don't work!
