Nio is a program that solves standard nine-letter anagram puzzles in a matter of seconds. It solves puzzles that have 'centre square' letters which must be used for each letter and requires answers with three or more letters. Nio usually takes between 5-20 seconds to get a complete list of words. Speed depends on the word and computer Nio is run on.
There are two main purposes for Nio. Firstly, you can impress your friends by 'solving' those annoying puzzles in the newspaper in seconds while they spend hours without getting all the words. Secondly, you can use it to generate a list of answers for your own nine square anagram puzzles which you may wish to give to other people to attempt. |
